NIKKI & MARTY

THE OAKS

Nestled along the waterfront, this Chesapeake Bay wedding was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and effortless coastal charm. Guests arrived to sweeping water views before witnessing the couple exchange vows surrounded by lush white blooms accented with delicate touches of blue. After the ceremony, they departed by classic wooden boat for sunset portraits while guests made their way into a sailcloth tent overlooking the bay. The natural beauty of the setting provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration that felt refined, relaxed, and deeply personal.

Inside the tent, the design embraced a fresh, airy palette with soft blue patterned linens, light wood tables, woven chairs, delicate floral arrangements, and hundreds of flickering candles. Hanging greenery installations above the dance floor created an intimate focal point while maintaining the tent's open, coastal feel. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to complement the waterfront setting, resulting in a wedding that felt sophisticated without ever feeling overdone. It was an unforgettable celebration that perfectly reflected the couple's style while showcasing the beauty of Maryland's Eastern Shore.Under a magnificent floral arch adorned with roses, hydrangeas, and cascading greenery, Christina and Liam exchanged vows. The garden-inspired design, with blush and cream tones accented by delicate pastels, created a romantic and serene atmosphere.

The reception was held in the Barnes Foundation’s soaring modern hall, where the minimalist architecture highlighted the vibrant floral centerpieces. Long tables were styled with lush garden arrangements, flickering candles, and elegant glassware, creating a sophisticated yet inviting setting. Guests found their seats with art-inspired escort cards, a nod to the museum venue and the couple’s love of creativity and culture.

The atmosphere was refined yet celebratory, filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and heartfelt toasts. The fusion of modern artistry, Korean tradition, and timeless romance made for a truly unforgettable evening.
