Christina & Liam

THE Barnes

Christina and Liam’s wedding at the Barnes Foundation was a celebration that wove together cultural heritage and modern elegance. The couple honored Christina’s Korean roots with a traditional Korean paebaek tea ceremony, while also embracing a classic American wedding ceremony and reception. The day reflected both respect for tradition and a joyful contemporary love story.

In the intimate setting of the Barnes Foundation, Christina wore a graceful hanbok, a traditional Korean dress with a blue jeogori (top) and a flowing silver-gray chima (skirt), detailed with delicate embroidery. The paebaek ceremony unfolded before their loved ones, with Christina and Liam bowing deeply to their elders, a symbolic act of respect and gratitude.

Under a magnificent floral arch adorned with roses, hydrangeas, and cascading greenery, Christina and Liam exchanged vows. The garden-inspired design, with blush and cream tones accented by delicate pastels, created a romantic and serene atmosphere.

The reception was held in the Barnes Foundation’s soaring modern hall, where the minimalist architecture highlighted the vibrant floral centerpieces. Long tables were styled with lush garden arrangements, flickering candles, and elegant glassware, creating a sophisticated yet inviting setting. Guests found their seats with art-inspired escort cards, a nod to the museum venue and the couple’s love of creativity and culture.

The atmosphere was refined yet celebratory, filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and heartfelt toasts. The fusion of modern artistry, Korean tradition, and timeless romance made for a truly unforgettable evening.
